Revelation 16:2-11 KJV. Excerpts from Appendix E are below:
- Vial 1 grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
- Vial 2 poured upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
- Vial 3 poured upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
- Praise to a righteous God who has given blood to drink to those who shed the blood of the saints! True and righteous are God’s judgments!
- Vial 4 poured upon the sun; men scorched with great heat, blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: they repented not to give him glory.
- Vial 5 poured upon the seat of the beast; they gnawed their tongues for pain, blasphemed the God of heaven, and repented not of their deeds.
Vial 6
12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. – Revelation 16:12-16 KJV
Great Day of God Almighty!
Lord of Lords, King of Kings Wins Battle or Armageddon
12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. – Revelation 17:12-14 KJV
Notice, the chosen and faithful are all with Jesus Christ at this point.
Christ Rides to Make War
11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. – Revelation 19:11-16 KJV
During the reaping of the earth those who did evil were gathered and thrown into God’s winepress. Christ and His army will now tread on that winepress.
Christ’s victory was also spoken of in Daniel.
Christ Breaks Beast
he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. – Daniel 8:25 KJV
Vial 7
17And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. – Revelation 16:17 KJV
God said it is done.
18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. – Revelation 16:18-19
The cup of abomination is poured out on Babylon.
God’s Wrath Against Babylon Before Angels and the Lamb
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. – Revelation 14:10-11 KJV
Her Plagues Come in One Day
8Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who [f]judges her. – Revelation 18:8 KJV
Men Still Blaspheme God
20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. – Revelation 16:20-21 KJV
It is hard to believe that some would still blaspheme God after seeing all His power. The hardness of their hearts at this point must be so great!
Marriage of the Lamb, Saints in Fine Linen
7Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. – Revelation 19:7-8 KJV
Supper of Great God
17Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the [h]supper of the great God, 18that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, [i]free and slave, both small and great.” – Revelation 19:17-18 KJV
Kings Gathered to War Against Christ and His Army
19And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. – Revelation 19:19 KJV
One Hour
10standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ – Revelation 18:10 KJV
17For in one hour such great riches [h]came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance – Revelation 18:17 KJV
19“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she [i]is made desolate.’ – Revelation 18:19 KJV
Vengeance on Babylon Complete
