Delivered to Councils, Synagogues, Rulers, and Kings
Matthew
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. – Matthew 24:9-10 KJV
Mark
9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. – Mark 13:9 KJV
Saints living in the last days will be delivered up to governments and religious organizations that do not follow the Word of God nor know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Betrayed, Hated for Name of Jesus Christ and Put to Death for Testimony
Luke
12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. 13And it shall turn to you for a testimony. – Luke 21:12-13 KJV
Mark
12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: – Mark 13:12-13 KJV
Luke
16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. – Luke 21:16-17 KJV
Christ was hated by those who were threatened by His power and authority. The same will be true in the last days. Saints allowing the power of Holy Spirit to operate through them will display similar power and threat to the kingdom of darkness. Christ was verbose in His warnings to prepare His disciples.
False Prophets Deceive, Love Waxes Cold
Matthew
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. – Matthew 24:11-12 KJV
Remember, there will be those claiming to know Christ who do not. And if they do not know Christ, they do not know Holy Spirit. They are operating under an unholy spirit, of which there are many roaming the earth.
Endure, You Shall Be Saved and Protected
Matthew
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. – Matthew 24:13 KJV
Mark
but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. – Mark 13:13 KJV
Luke
18But there shall not an hair of your head perish. – Luke 21:18 KJV
Holding Jesus Christ in our hearts as our Lord and Savior ensures we will be saved for eternity, without a hair on our head perishing.
Possess Soul with Patience
Luke
19In your patience possess ye your souls. – Luke 21:19 KJV
Christ has warned of deception, great persecution and the need to endure. Our ability to rest in the Lord and be patient for His plan is how we choose to guard our souls. We need to stay strong, with oil in our lamps to wait patiently through these egregious times.
Gospel Will Be Preached to the World
Matthew
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. – Matthew 24:14 KJV
Mark
10And the gospel must first be published among all nations. – Mark 13:10 KJV
Angel 1 – Gospel Preached to World
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. – Revelation 14:6-7 KJV
This is the first of three angels that fly after the 144k sealed first fruits are with Christ in heaven with the breaking of Seal 6.
Holy Spirit Will Lead You

11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. – Mark 13:11 KJV
Luke
14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. – Luke 21:14-15 KJV
Christ brings hope to His disciples, just as God has provided hope throughout scripture studied. We can trust in the power of Holy Spirit continuing to work through us in the last days.
